Default 3.8 or 4.0?

I have a question about the 2006 Mustang Deluxe I just bought. The salesman told me it was a 3.8 liter V6, and everything I have read seems to lead me to believe they may actually be a 4.0? Whenever I search for a 2006 Mustang V6 on ebay or wherever, they are always listed as a 4.0 and I now question if this is what I own?

Thanks
Dawn

lol. guess he never looked under the hood of the car. congrats on the buy, wish i had a 2006. time to start modding it. id go with the intake and tuner combo from vmptuning.com, next time you got an extra 500.00. says youll get, like, 20-25 hp, which probably means 15, but youll still notice. see ya..

Why? He made a sale! He could have said it was 5.0 (its misrepresentation, but still). It's morea buyer who needs to do some research before buying anything!

P.S. Show us some pics of your new ride!
