Default ****** in a cobalt

I've got to vent off some steam here. So today i'm riding back home from a buddy's house. I live in San Diego coming from OB headin south on the 5. As i'm riding along I notice this yellow cobalt SS. I think to myself maybe he wants to race. At this moment I'm about 50yds behind him and I start making my approach. He notices me coming up and he starts to increase his speed. Sweet, right? THis means he wants to race. I can't wait to rape this queer and show him some mustang muscle. Well he keeps gaining speed. I effortlessly gain in on him. I get about a car lengths away from him (we're going 85mph at this point). So I come up on his right to square off with him. At that same moment he guns it. I'm like WTF! what's this idiot doing? Doesn't he know how to race. Well apparently not. As he guns it I gun it too. After 2 effortless seconds I wizz right on by him to show him mustang dominance. Then I apply the brakes so we can square off and actually start a race. This idiot keeps going and passes me (obviously because i'm braking) and he gets about 5 car lengths ahead of me and flashes his hazards like he won! WON! Won what? We haven't even started yet!!! So now this queer thinks he just beat a mustang. WellI can't have that idiot telling his friends how his car is soooo fast he can beat mustangs. So now I'm gonna play his wierd and twistedgame where all you have to do to win is be ahead. Now traffic is not heavy at this point but it sure aint open either. So we're both navigating through traffic and it takes me a couple of miles where there's enough room to go full throttle. I gun it and pppppaaaaaassssss him right up. No problem. I mean I'm like 20 car lengths ahead of him. According to his moronic race rules that means I win right? I guess I was wrong. As I let up on the gas (because I'm going 125 and thick traffic is just ahead) he passes me and flashes his hazard's again. I couldn't believe it. Wow. How stupid do you have to be. I was done with this guy I got off at the next exit. This guy just got rapped and had NO CLUE. Please comment.

Does turning on the hazards mean you won the race?

Yeah it's kind of like show boating that you won the race. Like "hey it's over bud I just won."

He was just trying to piss you off.. he knew that your car was faster and thought it would be funny to get you all worked up.. he probably wasn't even really trying hard some of those times you passed him but then just to screw with you he'd speed up and flash you.. brilliant haha stupid mustang owners! Most SS are the 2.4 N/A
I get smoked by mild bolt on GT's by about 26 lenghts
Yeah, most of the Cobalt's in my city have the "ricer" mentalitly. I can't even find another SS/SC within an ~hour drive.
What are your mods?

Thats a good kill, you should've let that idiot go. just FYI, back in the day when we would street race, the winner had to put his flashers on so that the people who were at the starting line betting on the race would know who won at the other end. most of the bikes do when they race now. Its just that these simple kids with these 16 and 17 second cars are taking it a little too far.
