Default 2.3T problems & curiousity

ok, i had a problem and sleeper inc. pretty much helped me, but i still have problems, i dont know how to do the wiring for the swap that goes to the computer, as far as the pining and placement. i have a major fuel dumping problem because lack of turbo and vam, would this burn the forged pistons up? would i have to get new ones?

curiousity:
can you twin turbo a SVO?

how hard is to do the volvo head swap? and is it worth it to get the dohc? i seen it done, but would it be great with a modded engine and turbo'd?

does anyone know what the highest RPM you can with this engine and what you have to do? because i went to one machine shop that built for some private customers for circle/oval track racers and said got them to run 7200 all day. just wondering how to do it?

You shouldn't burn them up unless your running lean

Yes, but lots of work and money (twin IHI's sound cool)

Ummm... What do you want out of the car? a DD or a track only car? The folvo head conversion requires a standalone EFI system to run right.

I would call bo-port. Its all dependent on your cam, followers and lifters. I've seen people run these engines 8000+RPM down the track with valve springs, solid lash adjusters, and a better cam

well thats interesting, how would you run the twin IHI setup? one after another? never seen or heard it done.
its going to be a street and drag car. so yea a dd.
how would you get the EFI standalone to work with the volvo head? i seen it in a vid and they said something about you have to custom make a crank pulley and tie in a knock sensor and something else

Pretty much everything has to be custom in the volvo head eceot for the head itself.

Run 2 exhaust ports to a IHIand two others to another IHI

2 exhaust ports (1-4 or 1-2) to one turbo, and the other two to the other.

I woud tel you to get it running good stock then start modding
