Anyone know about how much an 8.8 rear end weighs? Just trying to see if I should take a friend to the junk yard with me when I go get one.

yea i loaded one in a pick up solo, and took 4 inches of skin out of my knee when it rolled off the tailgate

I am gonna take someone bc I don't know if someone at the yard would be there to help or not but getting it out won't be too bad bc I'll be using my engine hoist as much as I can. I'm sure I can pick up one end by myself but it is manuvering it that is the key;).
