I have been racing "The Green Turd" with nitrous only so I have been using about 30* total timing with a 125 dry shot I know I could add more but im just staying safe.

What are you guys running total timing N/A Im racing friday night with no nitrous I was just wondering how much timing I should put in her.

if the advance is 25 atWOT and you guys are turning the dizzy to 16* that means 41* total timing???????

I was thinking about trying to go about 38*-39*total timing hence the crappy sn95 puter. Sound about right??????????

I have the dizzy set at 10* I can change the advance to whatever on the laptop I was thinking about 28* advance that would give me 38* total timing sound about right for a NO nitro run?

most late model 302 tuners will tell you that ~36° is optimal, slowly decreasing to about 28-29° in the higher RPMS

13 is your base timing its not your total timing. as the motor revs up the timing advances further. also, i would think 10-12 would be ideal for base but who knows

What kind of curve are yall using?

It totally depends on the build, such as detonation resistance, chamber design, volumetric efficiency blah blah. Then you factor in fuel availability and timing requirements become what they are.

if your advance is 24 deg. then put your baseline @ 12 and see what you get[8D]
