the most recent box i built has about 4.5 ft^3 inside volume excluding the port volume, 31x31x10 with the subs mounted on the top. i have no room to get to my spare tire and that is suddenly becoming an issue with the increased amount of long distance driving.
to illistrate this, to get the box out, i have to remove the subs from the trunk side, remove part of the rear seat and slide the ~100 lb box through the interior, but before doing that, i have to remove my center counsole to allow it to come all of the way out.
does anybody have a ~3-4 ft^3 box in their mustang with relatively easy access to the spare tire?

holy cow man hope you dont get a flat. are you runnings dual subs? if so have you ever considered running seperate boxes. might be easier to get in and out.

does it sound funny to type it as reading it just makes me chuckle???? a 3 to 4 cu ft box in a mustang will eat any mustang trunk short of a hatch back and of course give no access to the spare. What speakers are you running to need that much air? 2 seperate boxes is probably the only option as mentioned, but I would just keep your AAA up to date.
