okay, there is guy that i know who got a 02 tran zam...he runs 11.5 in the quarter...Now, the fun part...I need to beat him...What do i need to do to run that time or quicker...I don't got the money for a engine swap...sounds easy enough right..

Car has to stay street legal...
Car has to keep compelete interior (except back seats cause there already gone)
I don't want to use huge amounts of NOS.....
ill lighten up the car with carbonfiber parts and **** if that makes a differnt...

I have 3.73 gears in it from ford racing, BBk cold air intake, and a predator tuner for it (yet to be installed)...I know i need alot more mods..but what kinds, and how much...Thanks...

To beat a 11.5 you will need turbo, centri or Twinscrew with a built motor. Not to mention a whole lot of boost.

I'm betting if you don't have the money for an engine swap you don't have the money to be consistantly sub 11.5.... just a wild guess.. so chalk it up to letting the people with more money have their toys.. ofcourse.. i am talking to someone quoting the fast and furiously stupid in their sig.

edit: alright.. I'll give you one more tip.. you don't have to worry about your floor board suddenly coming apart and sparks flying everywhere if you use [sm=nxsmile.gif]. .. . but.. as was stated.. if you tell us your year/make/model of car we can probably tell you wether or not to use insane nnn0000zzzz..

Wow!!! Uuuuuuuuuuuummm......... I take it you have a Mustang of some sort and have no idea what speed costs.

To get a safe,streetable 11.5sec S197 that is not going to break something everytimeyou get on ityou need about $10,000 in modsif you do it all at once.(give or take about $2k)

That last .7 sec is a beotch (at least thats what I've seen).



Slightly cheaper then FI would be...Full bolt-ons, cams,and about a 100 shot might be close if you like to gamble with your block.

Running in the 11s is expensive. Being humble and letting the blowhard talk is free. And have you actually seen the car run 11.5? Alotta people claim to have crazy fast cars actually only about a third of them can back up their talk.
