Default Thinking I am going to buy a set of rims

Well I have been debating on what to do with my half of my stimulus check. Me and the wife are getting 1800.oo and splitting it. Thought about doing some motor work, but have been looking at my rims and the chrome is flaking on all of them. So I think I am just going to buy a new set of rims, nothing to expensive, figured I could get a nice set fo less than 900.00. My question is, I have 17x9 on front and 17x10.5 0n back, is there anyway to get the 10.5 on front or am I going to have to stick with the 17x9?

Jheeez .... If I could squeeze a set of 10"s under there, I'd be happy

You didn't mention year, but I figure '99-'04. I think you will have rubbing if you go wider than 9.5" with the "perfect" off-set. I am running 275/35/18"s and have the less than 1/2" clearance between my coil-overs and rim and the most slightest contact on inner fender plastic liner at one location. I did put my 10" Saleens up front with 285/30/18"s for a quick run around the parking lot, and had no rubbing on full turns both directions. I never took it over 1 MPH or over any bumps, so don't know if it would clear for a DD. At that time, I still had stock springs/struts so who knows.

If you want to test, buy a set of 10.5"s for rear first, and try them up front. If they work, which I doubt, you can get another setfor rears. If theyDON'T fit, no loss, just go with 9"supthere and get the 10.5"s widened to 11" or more, like I am going to do. Hoping topossiblygo 325's or even 335's. I think that is a little ambitious, but I will do some figurin' out back and see.315's are no problem whatever
