Default Bench race FTL Me vs '98 vette

A friend of mine just bought a '98 vette, yellow, only 28,000 miles on it. He ofcourse wants to race me I figure he has me by a bit already, though it is stock still. Unless he screws up he should beat me. now.. assuming tonight when I see him he does beat me I'm figuring Driveshaft + gears = edge to me? (planning on doingthose in about a month) any thoughts? i'll post results of races when they happen.. should be sometime this week.. i'll stop by his place of business tonight..

Right now(with your mods), I would say he's got you by a few cars. You get gears it's a drivers race for him to lose, you get gears and a driveshaft it's a driver's race for you to lose. I say race from a dig and see how well that guy knows how to launch his vette which I hear a lot of people have trouble doing that don't race much from a dig.

go from a dig, use the auto to your advantage

if you don't that vette will scoot away from you like a streamlined butterfly

I still saythe c5has this one, from what I have seen at the track it takes a few more mods than the op has to beat a c5

Good luck though
