I recently came into a complete sub box with subs for the shaker 1000 system.  However, my 07 GT came stock with the shaker 500.  How much work is involved in hooking these subs up?  Will the 500 head unit support the subs or not?  I am looking for a quick and inexpensive fix.  Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks,

From what I know you would nee the sub harness and amp and head unit to use this. It would be cheaper and better quality to just buy subs in a box and an amp and hook that up instead

If your still wanting to knw if you don't have the harnes  for them you can splice in to your out from your radio on the j4 connector and run a new signal line and remote to the back or to where ever you need it.  Also you will need to run bat + and ground to it.  I have put a 1000 hu and a single sub / amp in a focus so anything even if its silly is possible
