yes but remember what the auto club had to say Quote 98% of all chevy's are still on the road today ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the other 2 percent made it home" quote:
ORIGINAL: dafaic Thats is correct it is a clearance issue. The Gt motor sits lower is my understanding and the intake doesn't stick up as high. Remember they designed the new intake for the 4.0 to make the car sound better overall and maybe had to lengthen them out. I don't have to worry about it anymore thogh I got rid of mine. Too many problems for me to deal with. Was in the shop almost 3 weeks last month and got it back and still had problems so by by mustang hello Impala SS - Supercharged 3.8 that runs mid 14's stock. It's a limited production 04 with 240 horses. What a nice car it is!
