WHY DO GT500's come with 3.31

Why do the GT500's not come with at least 3.55 gears like the GT'S?

I forgot to add that to my list of surprises....I too am surprised....maybe it was to save on tire wear....;)...you would really tear them up with 3.55, 3.73 or 4.10....can you imagine.....1st and 2nd would be non existent...LOL...anyway< I do agree with your concern and quandry as well
