Default DYNO RESULTS

Went to the dyno yesterday and I am proud to say I am part of the 400fwhp club!
I lifted @ 6k on every run.

Your car looks a little rich on the bottom. Did you do any tweaking?

Rich??? It is basically right @ 12 and w/ 13 obviously being the lean danger zone. I wouldn't consider it rich and the speed shop said it was right on as well. I didn't do any tweaking to the Roush tune you actually can't tweak there tune. You would have to throw in a standard GT pcm and play w/ that. My tweaking was upgrading the Roush tune to the latest 380pcm they offer.

You a/f is 'fine', but take a look at your curve. It should start lean-ish and get richer as your rpms come up, producing a slightly sloped curve. Your curve is pretty flat, which is plenty safe and fine, but you could gain a few horses on the bottom end if your curve started with a higher a/f #. Your a/f ratio doesn't need to be so rich on the bottom, but I can see how Roush designed it that way. It could band aid a lean condition, if it ever occured.
Let me ask you this. You say you made 400 hp. You weren't referring to rwhp, right? Because it shows a max hp of 360 on the dyno. I would say those are pretty good #'s considering your set up, roots blower and all. How much psi are you making max right now?

Right you are sir, I am referring to 400 fwhp. The smaller pulley bumps the boost up 2psi or so, so I am in the 8-9psi boost range! The Roush tune is made to be flat at those conditions in order to take on even more rwhp in a safe manner. What are you pumping out Birdie?

The 01 S281 has a Procharger on it, and makes 10 psi. Through tweaking and tuning, I have it making 440 rwhp safely. My a/f ratio at 5500 rpms is 11.8, and I can get 94 octane gas, so I am running quite a bit of total timing. It's pretty fast, and eats Z06's up for lunch. before my ford dealership total'd my S281E, it was making just shy of 550 rwhp @ 18 psi.

Nice numbers!
You must elaborate about the dealer totalling your car![sm=jawdrop.gif]
