Default Filled up yesterday...

Gas price was $3.59 a gallon. I mostly did city driving on this tank with someInterstate driving. I was very pleased with the 23.1 mpg that I got! This figure was calculated the old fashioned way with pen and paper.

Try $4.09 a gallon and paying $60 for a full tank every week.

It sucks

i havent filled my car up in 12 weeks...only driven it about 60 miles... I parked it 3 months ago and started carpooling with my girlfriend in her honda fit... averages 45 mpg with a 9 gallon tank...we split the cost of gas=12 dollars each person per week. i cant see wasting money like that for gas...if im gonna spend 300 per month, it will be on something that i can show for it...not something like gas??

Smart move!!

Not only are you saving $ by carpooling, but you are not racking up any miles on your Stang.
Also, your Stang is safe at home in the garage, oppose to being in the parking lot where people whack your doors w/ their doors!! [:@]

Default RE: 4.0L 87 vs 91/93 tunes - is it worth it?

Can somebody make this thread more 4.0L specific? Right now, it's a bit Off-Topic.

EDIT: I'll give it a try -

To those of you with CAI & tunes on your 4.0L, do you think the add'l performance kick from a 91/93 tune is worth the add'l cost in gas? Is your mileage better on the 91/93 tune than on 87? I have my own thoughts on the matter, but I'd prefer to hear what y'all have to say.

P.S. - I paid $4.159/gal for 93 the other day in Delaware

well, i first had the 93 tune loaded, yeah the car runs better, but i recently went to the 87 tune due to gas cost..
its something to be said about just "knowing the car has more power" then not using it... maybe its just me..
