Fishy for sure....my auto was matching lid/stock auto LS1 cars on the top end with a 2200 stall, shift kit, (built trans, kevlar clutches, manual valvebody, etc), LT4 KM, Removed Cat, Removed A/C, Ported heads, CAI, 3.42 gears and a series 80(gutted).
With 1 or 2 mods on an M6 you are still going to fall short of an Auto LS1 on the top end. It takes some decent power mods to make up for their power...in my case the heads were the only reason I was keeping up... Typically headers, cai, and LT4 KM (or tune) would be enough to start trapping 105~106ish on an M6 LT1 but it's really hard to say...I've seen people do better with a couple mods and I've seen worse with more mods......

I say most of the vids are BS. Now, Bolt-on new edge against the Stock LS2. That for some reason seems about right. There is at least 500lbs of a weight difference even with adding the drivers weighs to the cars. So, in the higher speeds, I'd say the 2V has around 300whp, 500lbs. less weight, and with the right driver of course. Not going to be common, but possible, IMO to say the least.

The races don't seem too far fetched, some of them are unclear but for the most part they are believable.
-Against the C5 Vette, vette was the camera car, vette could have been a auto vert for all we know.
-Mach 1, I'm sure the Mach 1 was close to stock.
-HCI Fox, seems about right. Could have been a GT40 bolt on and go setup for the fox making 250-270ish at the wheels, lots of variation in HCI.
-LS2 GTO, seems right to me, the GTO walks him pretty good.
-LS1 Camaro, being the LS1 is a auto car as well as the camera car, sure why not?
If he did in fact have a 150 shot on the camaro, all of those races would have been drastically different. Not to mention a HCI combo with the 150shot? Your talking over 500 at the wheels at that point.

then why does his car magically have a 150 shot with H/C is one video and then just shorties and a catback in his other one
and watch that GTO vid again... in the last race the GTO outlaunches the LT1 and then the LT1 top end's the GTO
I've ran a catback, CAI LT1 and his best at the track was 13.9 @ 99MPH... with the norm being 14.2-14.3 @ 98MPH
I'd listen to the guy that has actually owned a LT1 car before yourself
a catback andshorty LT1 isNOT top ending any of these cars... not even a "auto vert" or an "auto" LS1
i agree. there are some lt1 guys that are just so butthurt that the ls1 runs almost a full second faster than them. they will do just about anything to disprove it, including hiding spray, which i bet is whats happening here
I should mention, at a firebird forum which i dont post at anymore, i got into it heavy with some members (most of the people there are lt1 anyway). even after posting my own time slips and dyno numbers as near stock they claimed they see most ls1's going 14s and that the lt1's are the ones that were so underrated. whatever does it for u guys . personally i feel like its similar to sticking a roll of quarters down your pants

Two different time frames? Two different cars? Who knows. The one in those videos clearly don't have that extensive amount of mods.

Who knows, GTO misses a shift? GTO not trying? GTO has nothing else to proove? None of us were there so it's hard to say.

You're the one that asked for opinions. Why you gotta be a smart ass when you get your responses? My best friend owns a 95 LT1 Camaro. With very minor bolt ons it was over 300 rwhp, with ported heads, cam, and a home ported intake it put down 404 rwhp. Slap a 150 shot on top of that and you see where I am going.
The fox is debatable, HCI is a vague term (as I said before). The GTO CLEARLY pulled on him on most of the races, if the auto LS1 had a 200lb camera guy, the manual LT1 would be able to hold its own. The C5 Vettes tend to put down less hp to the ground then the LS1 Camaro's and TA's do to the IRS. With a auto vert C5 Vette, again with a 200lb camera guy, it is very possible that he was able to keep up.
I could see if this guy was smoking these cars, or even walking away from them that it may be hard to believe, but these videos aren't so unbelievable that I would dig this far into them.
