So after the first run of 1000 2008 GT500KR Mustangs Shelby now announces that they are building an additional 746, with 571 of those available to US customers. This means they will have equaled the production run of the original GT500KR, which was 1571.

The 2009's will not have the 40th Anniversary badges that were only on the 2008's.

So much for the rarity...
Will prices drop?

Thats still a very rare car. Just a few more people are able to have them now at a slightly lower price.

So does that mean that there will be less SS then KR's built?

“Super Snake” coupes for only US$27,995.00. Beginning in late summer of 2007, a limited number of GT500 owners can have this post-title package applied to their car at the Shelby Automobiles facility in Las Vegas
