I upgraded my front brakes and can feel a difference in the stopping power. Was very easy to do - simply pull off the calipers and rotors. Remove the bracket from the old caliper and put the bigger bracket on, put the rotor on and reinstall everything. No need to change the caliper itself because they are the same, just need to change the bracket and rotor.
The bigger rotor also fills in the wheel better.
I also painted my calipers

how much do you figure one should pay for these GT brakes
Its not the brakes that are changed.
Its the GT caliper brackets and GT rotors
that are needed.
You need 2 GT caliper brackets part #6R3Z-2B134-B, the same left and right.
And either OEM GT rotors or aftermarket GT replacement rotors.
And you need to do this upgrade when changing from 16x7" OEM rims to
18x8.5" OEM Bullitt rims.

well i bought both gt sway bars for $50 so i'm gussing no more than $100 for all four brakes and components. i just told him i would get back to him if i was interested then we would negotiate a price.

While you can't do the upgrade with the 16" wheel set, you can do it with the 17" wheel. The 18" isn't required - the stock size wheel on the GT and Pony package is the 17".
Also, Sancho - the rear brakes are the same whether you have the GT or V6 - no difference between the rear brakes so no need to change to the GT rear brakes.
