Default Can't get my motor to turn---help

I just rebuilt my 85 v6, and I am attempting to screw on the bolts for the torque converter, there are two I can't reach unless I get the engine to turn. I have attached the transmission (the entire engine is out). I wanted to use the starter to turn the flywheel. How do I do this?

That is a very good question of which I do not have the answer, sorry. But good luck!

with some muscle you should be able to turn the crank by hand. if not try pulling out the spark plugs and then turning it. there shouldnt be any reason to attach the starter just to turn it unless there is something wrong.
