Default need help asap

well i got my hands on my buddies 1988 5.0 lx. he used to drive it as a d.d. then let it sit in his yard for about a year now and i just got it from him. the car ran great when he had it but now im trying to drive it and i have no clue whats going on. first after sitting for a year we tried starting it and nothing. so we tested it and the startr was shorted out so we replaced the starter and she started right up and ran decent. ( although it has computer problems cause the computer got wet cause of the bad weatherstripping so i need a need computer) so i drive it to my house and try to start it the next day and when it started the strater would stick. now its to the point where the car wont even car it sounds like the starter is clicking. so i dont know wht to do cause i dont wanna pull the starter out and get a new one if thts not ht eproblem. im thining it may be in the solienoid or maybe even has to do with the faulty computer?? but i need someones opioion. Thanks Gregg

It sounds like your silenoid!! Change that and you should be good to go. Also, If you do not have a good charging battery, the car will run funny so try replacing that as well.
