Im new here, but I really don't know where this thread belongs.
Buy anyways, I went to my car dealer today (Auffenburg Ford) and I saw this blacked out mustang, black taillights And I asked one of the dealer there if this is a real cobra. He said yes, there was also a cobra symbol on the side.
I really didn't see under the hood, but he said it was supercharged. Im planning to go back there tomorrow to take a good look at it more. And take pictures.
But did Ford really made a 05 cobra at all? Oh and the car was going for $26k

I'm afraid there was no cobra in 05, and if I were you I wouldn't go back there, either the guy is trying to screw you or he just really doesn't know his stuff.

What if I bought that car I going to be driving it daily, But out of experience, would people laugh at me and say im a 05 mustang cobra wannabe? Since ford never made an 05 cobra
Yea people who "know Mustangs" are probably gonna laugh & comment about your bogus Cobra I don't understans WHY anyone would stick badges like that on a standard GT UNLESS they did stick a Cobra engine in it too. In that case the car would be quite impressive
Asside from the fact that there wasnt a cobra in '05 the grill is wrong. They had to remove the lights and change the angle of the grill sides to get enough airflow to the engine. The only way that would be a cobra is if someone sunk an older cobra drivetrain in it.

like everyone else said, no cobra in 05. it may not even be supercharged. take a look under the hood, if not supercharged low ball him. its his job to lie to u, but if u call him out on it it cant hurt u any
i wouldnt pay anywhere near $26K for it. maybe $16 sounds like a better price for a used 05 GT. no offense, but if you pay what they are asking then you are just as dumb as the person who stuck cobra badges on it.
