Default Stripes on my Mustang

So, I'm going in tomorrow to the Ford Dealership to look at samples of a matte black they have. I'm thinking of doing dual matte black stripes on my mustang.

Here are pics of it:

http://www.mustangforums.com/fb.asp?m=5027687

Basically from bumper to bumper. My friend said to go with dark gray or silver, but I think silver is overplayed and dark gray is, ugh. I'm looking for the 2008 KITT Mustang look.

What do you think?

1. Matte Black
2. Gray
3. Silver
4. Leave it alone! It's perfect!

You can vote on it.

well, i love matte black on black, but since you have the chrome theme going on, i think painted silver stripes would look really good

I voted matte black, That would look amazing........to a trained eye. I'm afraid that they would be missed by to many people. I dig the subtle look you are going for. Maybe a real dark grey, just enough for the casual passer by to notice but, still way low key. My car is just like your car in original form. I have white stripes. I think they look good. Kind of a retro race car look. Let us know how much the dealership charges you, I'd be interested to know. Oh, and PICTURES!!!

Yeah. Matte black you'd have to grab a look but other colors will grab your look. Then likejrhykushi said, I have the chrome thing going on too.

Dealership wants $550 with tax, installation, and warranty. (3 years, 36000 miles)

Gator Tint(they did my window tints and it was awesome, also did my brother's mustang tints) wants $500 with tax, installation, and warranty (2 years)

I personally would go silver or white. Matte black just doesn't stick out as much, to the point of it being pointless.

Now, I will say that I've never seen a black stang with matte black stripes in person, so my opinion doesn't matter very much.
