Default flex fan?

i have a 160 thermostat in my 84 gt just flushed out the radiator and the damn thing still heats up it went to about 200 today and i dont like it what is it suppose to run at? the thermostat dosnt leak but i dont have a shroud i have a flex fan should i put back on the clutch fan?

theres ur problem, buy a electric fan like a black magic or put ur stock fan and shroud back on

+1 on the shroud, it will make a difference. i run a 180 degree thermostate mainly because it gets driven year round so i do need heat, but mine never gets over 190 but then again summer aint here yet so i have yet to find out.
