Default Stereo Upgrade

I was looking to replace the infamous Shaker 500 with something much more dependable. I found this Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD, and I was wandering if anyone has installed this specific unit? It looks pretty good, and I think it would definitely add to the interior of the car.

I searched '05+ for "AVH-P4000DVD" and this is the only real hit: http://www.mustangforums.com/m_5045650/tm.htmNot much info here but at least you can try to PM the OP of that thread?

I also searched the A/V section for "AVH-P4000DVD" and found no hits.

That unit is pretty nice but I'd splurge for the Z2. I've got it and it's by far the best unit I've ever had and I've had a LOT of units. I paid a grand for it with all of the installation pieces from SonicElectronix.com !!

If you don't care about DVD or navigation, I highly recommend the FH-P8000BT. I recently installed it and it's fantastic. If you want DVD and Navigation, either go with the Avic-D3, or the Z series. The D3 isn't much more than what you're looking at.
