So I get woken up at 8am this morning to be told that there's spray paint on my car. At first I thought it was a joke... I've had the car less than a week now. But surely enough I get outside and on my hood and fender it says in white letters "your a pussy." My car wasn't the only one hit either a few others up and down the road got hit. But it seems like they were selective about it. I bought some bug and tar remover and that seemed to get most of the paint off. But on my door theres tiny speckles that have dried completely and wont even come off with my nail now. So I'm hoping they will come off in a week when I get my friend to buff and polish my car. Sorry I didn't take any pics, I was in too much of a rush to try and get it off.

A kid at school bought a 90s Dodge Ram from a place locally, some other kid wanted to buy it but didn't have any money to put a reserve on it, he was jealous/mad he threw open paint cans in the truck bed. [&o]

try using a clay bar, that should take them right off. but yeah, i'd kill someone if they spray painted my car.

That sucks bro, makes me glad I have a garage to leave my mustang in.

If the small speckles are left on for more than a week will it make them any worse than they are now? They've already been baking in the hot sun for a while now.

some douche bags spray painted **** you on my car while i was away on vacation lucky my moms friend owns a bodyshop and had these wipes that just wiped the **** off it was amazing

+1on the clay bar man, i use it at work all the time to get that kinda stuff off...and the longer you let it bake on there the harder it will be to get off (in my personal experiances) good luck and yes people are jealous assholes[>:]

Ha ha Im pretty sure they used "your" and not "you're" But not positive.. I wiped it off as fast as i could so I didnt take a good look. I used some nail polish remover on some of the small speckles on the side and it worked a bit easier. Most of the paint is off now. But it took a while.

That is the older style, the newer one has a slightly less horrendous nose, but now it looks just like every other bland SUV on the road [&:]

Sounds like the temporary paint that you can get with the car chalk if it washed off.... got to walmart or something and see how it says to get it off...

I already got most of it off. But I dont think it was temporary, I just got to it in time and what ever dried came off with nail polish remover and elbow grease. From what the neighbours have said it was 4 kids or something, appaerently they got chased down the road, but not caught.

Acetone, used carefully will take it all off no problem, just wet a paper towel with the acetone and have another towel ready to wipe it off. make a pass with the acetone rag and then wipe it dry real quick. It should take care of it.

Spray paint is ****ty compared to clear coat, so it'll come off without damaging anything else.

Good lord. I wish you would come to the detailing section and ask before you do that. Nail polish remover?!?! Clay probably would have gotten it all off and wouldn't have been horrible for your paint. Make sure you clean all of that off extremely well and reapply wax.

Next week I will re wax it, I have a gift certificate I can use when Im home and done with school.
