I am most likely going Saleen or Whipple supercharged and would like to know what gauges to purchase.  I want a nice clean look and fit that matches the stock speedometer MyColor display.  I saw a video on UTube showing off Autometer's Nexus gauges, and like something along those lines.

What gauges and triple pillar pods would you recommend for a hardtop coupe?

I want the pod to match my light graphite interior.

A/F Ratio?  Mechanical Boost/Vacuum?  Which should I have?

Anyone know of any good websites selling these products in a package?  How much should I expect to pay?

As far as the pillar pods go, try Brenspeed they've got some good deals on pillars.

for a pillar pod set up SOS is a must - best products - best service!!!

http://speedofsoundllc.com/2005-upMustangPod.html

as for gauges the Aeroforce are good stuff and easy to install and have analog inputs to add a boost/AF reading with sensors

I have the Speed of Sound triple gauge pod A-pillar. It's very nice; matches the color and texture of the stock parts perfectly and fits right in no problems. Also, the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge is great, as are pretty much any Auto Meter gauge. I'm using the Cobalt gauges myself, and they're very nice.

AeroForce interceptor gauges. That's all you need to know.

I have two of these and they are very cool. I love how I can monitor everything. I'm not boosted so it may seem weird to some I have them, but I think it's still a good idea so I can try to catch something before it becomes a problem and it's just interesting seeing what the car is doing at different times.

And they were extremely simple to install. Plug up to the OBDII port and that's all. Now of course, if you want them to measure some things like boost, you'll have to use one of the two analog inputs and run those up to the blower. But that should be fairly easy to do.

Oh and you can get it in various colors (the LCD).

I have the SOS dual pod with boost/vac and wideband -air/fuel (pic below). That should be about all you need. SOS also makes a triple pod

It does because it is the OEM Ford pillar! (at least mine is)

+1 for the SOS pillar! The quality and service is unmatched. Yes my pillar is an OEM one also and then they modify it adding the pods that match the finish exactly. The bullit cups really go well with the car. I have the 2 pod pillar (only because it was when they first released it and didn't have the 3 pod yet). Plus I have the center dash 3 pod (drilled version). Not to mention their switch panel. Love them all! -Joe

So, I talked to Evolution Performance and the installers recommend anything Autometer, especially the Nexus gauges.  I asked them about the Aeroforce Interceptor gauges and they said they are OK, but they wouldn't recommend them over Autometer's lineup.  They told me the Autometer's have better connectors.

They also recommended I have a Boost gauge with a Fuel Pressure OR Wideband gauge but not both.
They said the wideband isn't all it's cracked up to be, because it can give incorrect readings.

Funny that they said that considering the aeroforce gauges read right off the OBDII port under your dash !!!!! (so they get the info from your cars computer...they can clear codes and datalog as well!) JMO but I am getting the Autometer boost (mechanical) and Wideband A/F ratio gauge but using the interceptors (2) for everything else (you can monitor 4 things at once or automatically cycle thru all parameters).      J - I need to get one more gauge but not sure which?

Do you have a more up close picture of your gauges?

That sounds similar to the Scangauge II (which I have), and it costs less and is easily moved from one vehicle to another (which helps me).

Good question Mike... I read about them on Ebay but because they are from Ebay I stayed away from them and went with the best either aeroforce or Autometer or innovative

+ 1 SOS gauge pod, and Aeroforce Gauge.

Great fit and finish.  Aeroforce gauge is great because it is like 50 gauges in one.  As far as other gauges I agree anything autometer is good.

I always set the MYCOLOR to blue, so that is why I chose this set up.  In the future I might add an innovative wideband, which they make in blue digital as well in a ventpod.

Pic is real washed out, but it gives you an idea of the blue text Aero.

If they really said a wideband O2 won't be accurate I would stop listening to them and go elsewhere. That is the stupidest thing I've heard! If you get a decent wideband like from Innovate, I think it is about the most important gauge in the car. I have 5 gauges, boost, WB/O2, fuel press, oil press and intake air temp. 3 of my gauges are on my Innovate system and I can simply reprogram what they will display but that is what I decided to display normally. -Joe
