Well,
I got my clutch cable in and it's all good. Only problem is that it feels really mushy and engages a little late for me. So I had my mom hold the pedal up and I pryed the clutch fork forward just a tiny bit, then she let the pedal go and it all held there. This does nothing more then put it closer to engagement and drasticly improve my pedal feel. However like this though I found that if I pull up on the pedal the stock adjustment mechanism kicks in and gives it that mushy feel again. If I put in a firewall adjuster, can I adjust it to get the firm feel I like without having to worry about accidentally settin it back to the default feel? Also, is this a good firewall adjuster?

Thanks,
Tony

you need to get rid of that stock POS adjuster, its going to break on you one day, at the worst possible time.

Get an adjuster kit... Quadrant and firewall adjuster.

not if your stock adjuster keeps popping loose

It's not that it pops loose, its just right now I have my cable adjusted a little bit tighter thenwere the stock adjuster sets it at. It sits just fineright there, as long as I don't pull on the pedal and activate the stock adjuster. So I think with a firewall adjuster I could let the stock adjuster sit in it's default position and getmy extra line tension from thefirewall adjusterinstead of the stock one.Make sense?
