Will the fender, hood, and bumper off of a 1986 LX fit on my 1991 LX?

Yes it will. Although if you are running any wheen bigger than a 16 you will want to keep the 91 fenders bc the wheel wells are about an 1.25 inches wider to keep the larger wheels from rubbing.

yes but the 86 front bumper has a different molding than 91. You could do it right by replacing all the body moldings and rear bumper. You could get away with doing just the bumper extensions

I forgot about that part. The front extensions can be a hard item to find in good condition. As for the moldings you could trin the 86 moldings to make them the right length.

yes just keep the fenders you have on there and use the fender extentions from your 86 they should fit right on.

So, wait...I can just bolt on the whole bumper assembly from an 86, and keep the 91 hood and fenders? I don't have an 86, I'm pulling parts off of a junker. I just happen to like the front end, and I need a new paint job anyways.
