I have Tein H. springs and I love 'em. The drop is 0.9" front and 1.7" rear. The car sits almost level. Wheel gap after the drop is 1-1/4" front and about the same for the rear. Ride is not harsh. Just a little stiffer than stock. The H. Techs are gold colored while the S. Techs are green. The S. Techs will drop your car even lower. If you get the S. Techs then you will definitely need to do other suspension mods to get everything aligned correctly. I chose the H. Techs because I didn't want to sacrifice ride comfort. Here's a pic of my car on Tein H. springs...

Thanks for responding.
Your car looks awesome.
I picked up on the set of S Tech springs for 144 dollars. They were listed at a 1.5 drop.
Did you do the install? and did you use the same parts over or did you but new upper spring mounts in?

You got them for a good price. Make sure they're not counterfeit.

Here's how to spot counterfeit S. Techs.
http://www.tein.com/counterfeit/index.html

The S. Techs will give a drop of 1.5" in front and 2.2" in the rear. 1.5 in front would've been too low for my GT/CS because of the already low front fascia; another reason why I didn't choose the S. Techs.

Here's a pic of a GT on S. Techs.
http://www.tein.com/tech_info/g12.html

Install was pretty easy for the rear; took about an hour. The fronts took longer; about 3 hours. I reused the original hardware and didn't need new upper spring mounts. I know some people had problems with clunking noises from the mounts and I think there's a TSB about that. I never had any noises so maybe I got lucky.

If you plan to do the install yourself then check out TacoBill's how to...

How low are the sport lines? I would like to see how they ride compared to the Steeda Sport Springs. I'm also considering buying a pair to swap out the rears. Hmm ... Can anyone give me a link to the cheapest place to buy these things? 2007CalSpec did you do any other suspension modifications with these springs? I'm wondering what kind of angle your driveshaft is at with these things.

Sportlines? Only sportlines I know are from Eibach. You mean the S. Techs from Tein?

I didn't do any other mods to my suspension but I might have to get some camber bolts soon. I'm noticing slight inner tire wear on the front tires. Not much though. I have no idea what my driveshaft angle is at.

Here's a couple of places for Tein springs. You can also search Ebay.

Thanks for the quick response. I was talking about the ones from Eibach. I was seeing if the "S" Tiens are the lowest spring availabe. Regardless I've got Steeda Sport Springs currently. What do you think about me buying the "H" Tiens and swapping the rear springs out with them. Do you think it'd be level? Everything I've ever seen says the Steeda Springs are 1" up front and 1.25" in the rear. I just want more drop in the rear. Good idea? Bad idea?

You're gonna need to drop the rear about 2" to get things level with your 1" front Steeda springs. Eibach's rear Sportline springs should do it. The Tein H. has a drop of 1.7" in the rear. You would have a slightly higher rake angle than mine with the Tein H. rears and Steeda fronts.

Here's some more angles of my car...

Now I'm confused because the math says it'd work out pretty good. I know the rear would still be a little higher but I wanted it like that. However I just measured my car and it's got an inch and half of gap in both the front and rear. So that wouldn't do me any good since it'd just make the rear lower than the front. My girlfriend has the Ultralites on her V6 and it's got 2-1/2" of gap in the rear and 1-1/2" gap in the front so it sounds like it'd help her out a lot. I'm confused.

My wheel gap is 1 1/4" front and rear. That's with a .9" drop in front and 1.7" in the rear. My wheel size is 18" with stock size tires. If you want the car to look almost level but with a slight rake then just replace all four springs with the Tein H. springs. Don't bother keeping the front Steeda's. I figured because I have a slight rake with the 1.7" rear that the car would need 2" rears to get level. Wheel gap isn't a good measurement of how level a car will sit though. A car can sit straight and level as an arrow and have larger wheel gap in the front than the rear. I've seen it. I was under the impression you wanted your car to be exactly level from your first post. Now I can recommend the Tein H for the rears in your application.

I ran the Steeda fronts and Tien H rear springs in mine and they worked very well together. I put stock fronts and the Steeda rears back in because of the weight of the Turbo setup and the fact that I will be running a 28 inch tire in the rear with the new setup.

Well there you go! Someone who's done Steeda fronts and Tein rears.

Hey Earl...What did you do with your Tein springs?

Oh wait! You sold them to me!

How did it sit? Did it still have a little rake or was it level?

It sat almost dead level with just a slight rake, I really liked the stance with that setup. Hey Marcus, I'm glad you are enjoying the Tien's.

I love the stance and the ride of the Tein H springs. Thanks again Earl!

Thumper,

The stance with Steeda fronts and Tein rears would be very similar to mine. Almost level with a slight rake. Our rear height would be the same if you got the Tein H rear springs. Our fronts have a difference of only 0.10". Yours being 0.10" lower with the Steeda front springs. My pics are a good example of what yours will look like since 0.10" is barely noticeable.

Well after that little scare, I finally got hold of K2motors and they told me the springs are 100 percent guaranteed to be TEIN S TECH without the fake stickers.
The man said my order would be put thru as soon as he receives them from his supplier. (Automotive promotions)

Update
Tein springs never came from K2motor. Paypal expired after 30 days. I owe this sight some greatly deserved gratitude. With out that warning I would not have called up K2motors and warned them. I probably would have a set of fakes right now.
Many Thanks to all.
Springs are on hold for now. I still plan on doing them down the road.
