Some more... I'm looking right now at setting up for PSCA Outlaw 10.5 fro next season and then upping the program to NHRA Pro Stock the following season. 9's are a PIA on a street car so figure I'll jump right into the 6's...lol

The car is currently owned by Cale Aronson and it is a Skinny Kid built car. It has a Jon Kaase Racing Engines 698 cubic inch engine. If I get the car, I will be going with a family powerplant built by Jack O'Bannon Racing.

Holy crap that's wicked!

698ci...man that's a monster.

What happened to the GT500 idea? Also, are you still planning on running THE BEAST again and trying to get 8's? I wanna see a 1/4 video of it going all out.

Another thing, is it not allowed to run a blower on that car? Or does the Pro Stock rules say you can't?

I'd love to see the new 4.5L whipple on that thing.

I decided against a GT500. I'm not even trying for an 8 with the current chevykiller. Too much of a PIA to be that quick with a street car and I can jump right into the 6's with this monster...

Don't worry though, I'm still going to get some 1/4 mile slips/vids on the sonic beast before she goes... I'm still expecting to be healthy in the 9's on a daily driver platform.

I'm just excited at the prospect of 'doing it for real'...

No blowers in pro stock. N/A 500 inch programs.

However, in Outlaw 10.5 you can run power adder. if I get the car, I'll want the experience of mid 6's - so I'll probably run juice on the big block. The mechanics and chief have the task of figuring out how to make it stay in the mid 6's all motor - I just want to drive it!

i guess this is just another chapter in the life of the CK.  sounds like it's something that has you excited, and that's what everyone needs.

Thanks - yep it's definitely not for sure and still up in the air. Sadly, there's a lot more factors involved than just my 'wanting' it...lol

All I can do is hope at this point...

truth is it's really up to convincing my uncle to get involved in a pro stock program. He's so deep in TAFC right now and he's looking to have a 2 car team in top fuel FC by 2010, don't know if he'll even want the extra headaches. All I can do is try cause there's no way I can do this kind of program without his help.

If not, then maybe you can ask John Force to adopt you.

Thanks and by the grace of all things holy - may your car not spend half the time in that shop as mine did...

Oh that would be so much better. A hot girl who races top fuel FC...damn, can't get any better than that. I think I'm in love.

Cool stuff man.

You're still ahead of the pack with a 9 second daily driver 3V.
