i have a 94 gt 5o and i put autolite plugs in and new wires and i hear like a taping sound hears some one say its a spark knock what is that and what kind of plugs are good it had motorcraft in it before
ngk--- thats all i've ever used in my car... they are about $2-$3 a pop... i run n20 so i have a cooler burning pug... for a typical street mustang i'd run a 8 or a 9 in it...

did you check the GAP???? Even tho they all say they are "pre gapped" by being shaken around in the boxes it changes the gap.. I would take them back out and check every gap to make sure its right on before yoou make any assumptions..

I would check with what Adder said, you may have a cracked plug. Start the car in a dark area and check to see if you have spark where it should not be.
