V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.

I diddn't know you could have photoshoots with camera phones
i dont travel with a tripod setup...and i figured you guys would want pics...so it is what it is

who said you had to travel everywhere with a tripod setup?

I have a decent still cam and video cam in my car at all times, maybe I'm just used to high quality when someone mentions a "photoshoot"... considering I work them quite often

I personally don't think the challenger is anything special... I see someone getting this excited having a run in with an enzo... or an S7

whatever gets your jollies off I suppose

no kidding, I have almost the same size engine and I get 17-19 city with 22-23 highway

looks as though the 6.1L "HEMI" (AKA magnum... not hemispherical) is giving the gallardo a run for it's money on gas mileage

the legendary hemi lost all its cred when dodge decided to put one in every model car they had

well....it was called a hemi because of the combustion chambers hemispherical  (sp) design....but the new "hemi"s dont have that

again... who said anything about keeping a professional photographer in the backseat?

the pic in my sig was taken by one of my friends hanging out of a S197 GT passenger window at 75MPH on the freeway with a decent camera... compare that picture to your picture on the freeway

professional photographer? no

a 19 year old that felt like taking a pic of my car on a spur of the moment thing? possibly

all this hostility over cameraphone pictures is making me chuckle

Very cool dude... that's a good story!

Performance wise, did it pull well? I know it has alot of power, but it's also a very heavy car... were you able to keep up?

not really...i could keep up in the rain cause neither of us were gonna push it...but if it had been dry and we went all out, he woulda left me like we leave the v6ers....thats not to say he would smoke me in the quarter...in fact i'm pretty sure i would beat him in a light to light...but he definitely leaves me behind (way behind) if the race goes anywhere....he has my number so if he can hes gonna sneak it out to our annual neighborhood car show beginning of june...i know people so he just might do it......to all the forum guys in the neighborhood, thats vinny and richies show off crossbay blvd on june 4th...cant miss it...just follow the sound of engines

totally biased video ...  gave himself away when he says "the dodge has a better interior".. ok well thats your opinion because i think that interior is nasty.. as for the exterior i do like it..

i love the challenger, but i love mopars...was gonna hold off on the stang, but i kinda got rushed into buying something, and i wanted one forever, so voila i have one...

the hood was supposed to be made of carbon fiber with the striped area just masked off during painting, but the cost was too great, so settled for vinyl...i think it's better that way...best part of mopars next to the motors is the bright colors and wild stripes

challenger is suffering from EXTREME markup...dealerships that have them on order have reserve prices up around 60K+ limited production, first year car
