It says 2/7, so does that mean 2/7/08, or 2/7/07? I bought my car in Oct. 2007 and it hasn't been to the dealer since then, so I'm just trying to figure out it has the chance of being updated or not.

That is good to hear. My computer code is PSP1 and I have 3 tunes coming from Doug any day now. I hope all goes smooth.

Yea I'm glad to hear this too. I just ordered a tuner from doug and this thread was getting me a little worried because I just had my gears changed and they reflashed the computer to calibrate the speedo. I can't wait to see what the new tunes will do for me.

I am buying a SCT X3 Tuner and American Muscle has asked me for the computer code, I followed their instructions and went down to the garage popped my hood and looked for the decal on the side of the ECM, the decal is not there and hence I have no idea what the computer code is, it seems by all the posts and what American Muscle is telling me is that the code is crucial, does anyone have any idea, if there is an alternative way to locate the code or if it's really necessary at all for a CAI? Can the codes be traced via VIN's from blueoval.com?
mine was on the SIDE of the ECM (which is right next to the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side). the sticker was small and only had the 4 digit code on it.
i dont know why it wouldnt be there, but without that you'd probably need a tuner to plug it in and read the code. hell, if you knew anyone else with a tuner you could probably even use theirs just to check.
I'm terrified of the dealership pulling this on me whilst the car is in the shop having work (TSB's, warranty) as it might not be immediately apparent. I made up a little warning label thingy which I leave on the steering wheel to warn them off but I still don't trust them. As an instant "this car has been flashed" tell tale, I always put it into Fords with my [3500rpm max/40mph max] Valet tune loaded. If I can run it over 40mph on the way home I know it's been flashed.
