second try, got a feel of the track so i hope to do better, checked tire pressure, fronts are 35 psi, rear 20 psi, full weight (spare, jack, 12" sub, etc.)
Rt:.6217
60ft: 2.44
1/8 et: 10.08
1/8 mph:71.41
1/4 et: 15.53
1/4 mph: 90.87
Only mod in the car is the hooker muffler which flows better than stock but weights more.
After checking the tire pressure my friend told me something I hadn't checked, the treadwear of the stock tires is 620[:@][sm=badidea.gif][sm=jawdrop.gif] veeerrryyy bad lol. Seeing my times I know that this car can run in the upper 14's stock with some good tires. So here come my questions,
1) I'm thinking of swapping the ET STREET drag radials from my 5.0 just for a day at the track, they are 255/50/16. Has anybody used this type of tire in stock trim (no gears, no LSD). I'm thinking of using them with like 25 psi so that they wont hurt the drivetrain but obviously hook much better.
2) How much gas do you guys have in your tank when you run? I was just hittin empty before the track so I put $5 that was like gallon and a half (lets say 1/4 of a 1/4 of tank lol). After the track I went and fill up half tank, and the car felt more "loose". I don't know if its me or what but it felt better but the weight of the gas hurts also.
Sorry for the long post, definitely a lot of fun!!![/align]

RE: 2nd time @ the track....new times and couple of questions
Holy crap, 5 stips. I'm moving to PR. Tires will only help if you are spinning them on launch. If so, look into a trac lok, that will help a lot. As far as gas in the tank, I guess it's a question of dead weight VS weight directly over the traction axle. If you are spinning the tire(s) the weight might help with traction. After you run out and get your trac lok, lighter should be better. When I want to go fast, I take out everything that is not bolted down (spare, jack, kids)and run with as little gas as I can. When I used to race my camaro, I even used to take out the back seat! Oh make sure the traction control IS OFF (if you have it) that thing will kill your times if your spinning tires.

RE: 2nd time @ the track....new times and couple of questions
I always run my car exactly as it is on the street because I want to see how the car runs the way I drive it allof the time. No empty tank, no drag radials and I don't leave everything in a pile in the driveway. Street car--Street times. Just me I guess. I'm satisfied with my times so far, just don't know what mod to get next? Maybe UCA & LCAs. Maybe headers. And I agree with viperrmk, it is an obsession! Hey joeymustang, it must be nice to have 5 drag strips!!!, there all gone here on Long Island. Definitely get a t-lok! It really helps alot. Have fun!
