Recently I replaced my speedometer cable and gear. It worked fine yesterday when I drove it today on the freeway the speedometer stopped working. I took the front of my dash out and it was still connected and I made sure the wire was still making a connection to the speedometer. I wasn't able to get to the gear in the tailshaft of the transmission since it's late. Any help would be appreciated. (Note: It's a 67 Mustang with a C4 transmission).
