Anyone play? I'm going to go out for the club team next semester and maybe do a summer league. I have a few buddies who play and it looks like fun. I was throwing around the ball this past weekend with a friend and it's hard as hell to get the hang of cradling and throwing. It seems like a lot of sports combined into one. I love the aspect of getting to lay out people though, it's been awhile since football in highschool. Where should I buy a stick and gloves? Not looking for anything fancy. Do big name stores carry that stuff? The school gives us the rest of the equipment.

Dick's sporting goods should have sticks there.
But not top of the line.
Look around online.

I played lacrosse all through high school and college.  I was a goalie........and to do that position for so long you need to be a little crazy.  You can get decent lacrosse sticks and dick sporting goods...or sports authority....places like that.  Make sure you buy a stick that does not have soft mesh.  The plus about the soft mesh is that it is already worn in.....but it will break down real quick because it is not the highest quality...and once it gets wet the pocket will suck balls.  I love the game.  I am currently a JV level coach in upstate NY..good times.
