1969 Torino out of storage
My dad and I got my brother's torino with a 351out of storage yesterday. My brother comes home from college this weekend and the work starts soon afterward.
The car needs:
4 barrel carb
Dual exhaust
New air cleaner
Paint job (meadowlark yellow doesn't cut it)
AOD transmission (3 speed auto comsumes too much gas)
New rear diff gears

The classics section distinctly states "mustangs"
Torino does not equal mustang
I'll try to get some up tomorrow

Clint Eastwood is supposed to be making a movie featuring a 72 Torino.
Why it isn't a 70, I don't know...
Is the 69 similar?
A few got big $$$ at auction this winter!

Big difference between a 72 Torino (rather ugly) and a 69 Torino (dead sexy). I'll take the 69 and make it a fastback, or a coupe I don't care.

You realize posting a thread like this without pictures is grounds for a perma-ban?

RE: 1969 Torino out of storage
My buddy in high school had a 70 Torino GT with a 429 4 speed Hurst and a bench seat. It was one of the fastest cars I have ever been in........sweet ride.
