Well I was changing my wheels on my car today and the lug nut key stripped on the last wheel. the lug itself is fine, but the key is shot. How can I go about to getting the nut off without my key? Tire shop??? Ford dealer???

Last time that happen to a friend of mine and he took it to a mufler shop, to have them weld a regular nut ontop of the other nut. then just took it off. I think if you go to a good welder he could probably do the same thing. Maybe someone will have a better idea.

1. go get another key

2. hammer a socket that is a little too small onto the lug nut, and unscrew (will more than likely ruin the socket...)

3. push car off cliff (j/k about #3  )
