Currently I have this:  http://www.rpm3dinc.com/MustangSide.jpg

Stock 16" rims and tires... BLAH... The worst part is, My new side Exhaust system is actually so low the ground (under the car) that its rubbing and bottoming out on EVERYTHING... So I need to get 20" rims and tires to "Raise the car" up so I have more ground clearance for the pipes.  I am looking at American Racing "Redline" and "Razors"  My hope is this will add at least 2" to the overall clearance of the car to the ground, hopefully solving my Rubbing Exhaust problem...

Any other suggestions? Or am I going in the right direction?

You need to look at the diameter of the existing tires, and then compare to the tires you want. Add 1/2 of the additional diameter to determine amount car will go up. For example: if your existing tires are 24.8" diameter and your NEW tires are 26.8" diameter, you will raise the car 1".

Personally, I think you are going the wrong direction and should look into possibly raising the exhaust so it doesn't rub.

OK, I wasn't thinking of the exhaust going under the frame *Homer Simpson DOH!*.

Roush has been doing this for years, but on '99-'04 Stangs, and what I was thinking of when I posted .

I am sorry the seller of this kit did not have a warning or disclaimer to the exhaust issue presented by this location. At this point, I would probably leave the exhaust ends out the side, but cut them off before they pass under frame (maybe put a cap on back-side so you would not see light coming through). I would then run the exhaust toward the back, and terminate them in a place that was not too visible. That way, you would retain the look you want, but have the clearance you need.

PS. I was just in Handling & Performance section and saw two guys with same side skirt/exhaust as you. I PM'd one guy, and then saw the second. Take a look ***HERE*** and maybe ask some questions.
