im looking at putting in the 8.8 rear end down the road and was wondering were i should go to look for this?

'94-04 V8 mustangs except the '99 Cobra, '00 Cobra R, '01 Cobra and '03-'04 Cobras

Dont know if the 8.8" rears out of the Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis will bolt up, but i dont doubt that they do.

only 94-98 will fit 94-98, and 99-04 will fit 99-04, there is a width difference and the lower control arms are different.

FIXED IT! LOL

ok so i have a 2000 and i know were a v8 is and it is 99-04 so i will so see how much they want.  will this be able to bolt up or will i need to change something like shocks, springs. also what gears are recomended to install before it goes on the car.

auto - 4.10s.  manual - 3.73s
blown auto plans - 3.73s.  blown manual plans - 3.55s

at least thats what im goin with.  after i hit the powerball, ill be using for my auto : 8.8 inch rear end, with 3.73 gears, all new hardware, a carbon fiber driveshaft, and an auburn posi diff. that should hold my 4.2 m112 build!!!  i WANT 400 WHP!

It'll bolt right up, nothing extra required. Don't pay over $400 for a used stock rear end.
