Dont know if anyone could help me out around the San Diego area but Im really rallying for some of my saleen brothers and sisters to help if you can. I was scammed on a saleen hood out in chula vista, ca from someone named victor corona. Who knows if this guy is even his real name. All I know is i paid 1020 dollars thru a money order and never received it. It was sent to 15 E J street in chulva vista. I just took it as the hood was gone and I got scammed well now the same guy has resurfaced. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/pts/675689440.html I called the owner at the same number as before and he acted like it wasnt him and he was acting all pissed that some guy was using his id. Well his phone number goes to him so I got thinking of why someone would give the phone number and say its a rip off to try to pry some more money. I was curious if maybe someone could call him asking about the hood to see if he acts different and tries to take your money. Also if anyone calls could you ask about swinging by and viewing the hood so you could get the address even though I doubt anyone would go look at the hood in person. Any help would help dramatically thanks again everyone for everything.

Upon two people calling him stating that the hood was sold a long time ago i will not be going down to chula vista unless i can truly see a reason fit. I was going down there with my buddy who is a sheriff's deputy but i still just dont feel safe going down there. Feel like im gonna get jumped at this point.

You should be able to contact some of his previous buyers and get an address.
If not, have your local FBI agent contact ebay directly and find out all his personal info. Ebay makes out like they can't divulge info- but the truth is they have no choice in the matter. Legally, or otherwise. When pushed, they will help resolve a problem, especially when it involves a fair amount of money.
Not to get in the told ya so mode- but this is why you NEVER, EVER pay with a M.O. or cash..hell-even a personal check. People complain about PAYPAL, but I have never had an issue with it. Matter of fact, I bought an item off ebay for 2300.00, paid with PAYPAL..and never got my item. I waited, sent emails, called the guy...Nothing.
Contacted ebay and PAYPAL, and 1 week later they froze the guys checking account that was linked to his PAYPAL account. Turns out he had to pay suppliers out of his account, and the money was frozen. PAYPAL made him send me my item, overnight, at his cost, and then had me sign a paper saying I recieved the right item, undamaged BEFORE they would release his money. He was freaking out..emailing me, calling me. The same guy I couldn't get a hold of was suddenly everywhere to be found.
