I'll take it to the mechanic anyways, but just want to know is it a tough work! I just got Motive 4.10 and I heard one of the issues is that the crush sleeve needs to be crushed more. Anybody had any problem with this? And how long those installations take?

Thats what i was thinking too, but I'm not concerned about the money as much as I am about getting it installed! I don;t know if there's some pre-work that should be done to gears before putting them in!

The hardest parts are getting everything in, and shimming it properly. Good to hear you are going to take it to a shop and have it done professionally. Hit up some of the drivetrain shops in your area too, do a little price hunting. If somebody gives you a low price and seem to know whats up, then go for it. This is a relatively easy install, the vast majority of drivetrain shops will do a good job putting it in for ya.

Oh man this people are crazy...especially their ignorant secretaries! I got quote 325 and the guy seemed to know what I was talking about! Other places I called were like "wtf is he talking about" Whenever I said I got 4.10 and t loc they were like "what do you mean by t loc?" What kind of a transmission shop are you if you don't know what is t loc?! Due to bunch of dumb questions I just want to make sure again that this is all I need! So whoever done this before let me know if I need anything else!
looks like you have everything right there. or at least i hope you do cause i have the same just 373's and im dropping it off for the install next week
damn i hope i get a quote like that in my town. hate to jack your thread but usually how long does it take a shop to do this? anyone?
I dropped mine off at 8am and picked it up at 5pm the same day. They didnt start working on it until noon, but I don't know exactly when they finished - so it is somewhere under 5 hours.
