How do I remove my 05 GT ratcheting alternator pulley and install my Saleen underdrive alternator pulley. Is there a special tool to take it off. This job is killing me.http://www.mustangforums.com/image/s6.gif[:@][:@]

If your installing a s/c kit, it should have came in the kit. If not, call Saleen Speedlab and you can buy the part from them. If you have a VW, porsche, Audi dealer near you, they will also have the tool. It's a Bosch tool.

I got my Saleen underdrive pulleys in and I went ahead and ordered the alternator pulley removal tool from Saleen. Was it hard to take off and how does the new pulley attach? You just use the same nut to attach the new pulley on or do you need a different nut?

Just put the tool in the end of the pulley and use an impact gun to loosen counter clockwise. Use the new nut and washer that should be included in your under drive pulley set.
