1. Because it's a Mustang.
2. Price (gas, insurance, cheaper)

1. Baby on the way, wife said NO to the GT $$.
2. Use as a daily driver car (less expensive$$).
3. Better gas mileage.
4. Less expensive insurance.
5. Won't burn out tires as fast!!

1. I bought it because I'm sending it overseas next year and a X-Charged Mustang was more than enough for there.

Im from England. American Muscle has been my life since i was five.
im 17 and making affordable payments on my V6
my insurance is cheeper then the GT
My dad has a GT and gets 23 MPG from Fallbrook to San Diego every day.
I get 18.4 MPG with my V6 from home to school to work. (all within 15 miles.)

Yes the S197s are probably one of the best looking cars on the street today. Probably the most recognizable cars too!

I have a Ranger too, and no doubt it blends right in with the rest of the welfare victims, but as soon as that mustang hits the street its a whole different story!

My reasons may be a little different. I already have an '01 GT paid for so I wanted a reliable daily driver that is good on gas. The V6 fits the bill. Imo it is the more reliable of all the Mustang engines. Also it's an '08 and 8 miles on it when I bought it and paid $16,250 brand new. I don't think I could of gotten into a Civic for that.
