I was washing my car today trying to remember why did i buy a v6? Many times I long for the v8 sound and the bragging rights of a more powerful motor. Everyone knows that the GT is a awesome car, so dont say im hating on the GT. I love the GT.
Here is why I bought the v6
1. the car has gt inspired suspension
2. the pony package grill is the best looking grill of all the new mustangs
3. it has the shelby rocker panels
4. I wanted better gas mileage then the v8. Now this move is really looking like a smart one with the forecast of future gas prices. Soon we will see threads on here talking about the best mpg mods.
5. a pony package vert has nearly the same resale as a coupe gt, less than 1K difference. The higher gas prices go, the worse the value of the v8 cars.
6. I wanted the looks of a mustang, thats all.
7. 80% of the world doesnt know the difference between v8/v6 cars. This is proven day in and day out by the compliments I get from this car.
8. It has the gt wheels without gt price.
9. The price was right.
10. I don't race, so a v6 with cai tune is all you need to get a speeding ticket on the highway. its plenty fast enough.
