your complaining about spending 8 dollars? so instead you post 2 threads of the same topic, waisting days of your time that you could have worked one hour at minimum wage and found extra change on the road to pay for the tool?

No one here is going to help you. You started a thread, you got an answer. The answer was "You have to buy one, or make one"

You dont want to buy one.

So make one.

I dont see what the problem is here... quit wasting our time and cluttering the board with your useless posts.

you can use some nails if you know what you are doing but if you have never owned or used the tools then Idunno. Now the worst case scenario if the you use the nails wrong is you will need destroy the factory cassette to pry the face off fo the stereo to expose the clips behind it and then pull it out. So what you need to ask yourself is, is the 1988 factory cassette player worth $8? It is a toss up to me really...... I had the tools to take mine out but afterwards decided to take the factory face off to use a as a cover for my volt/power meter display if I am in a bad nieghborhood so I destroyed it anyway..........

If you are comming hear for a nice gentle place to get some audio advise then Idunno if this is the place. It is good for getting mustang related advise(exactly what you needed) then this IS a good place to go but it is a little like asking your big brother who is busy getting ready for a date with little-miss-sally-rotten-crotch to take a look at your stereo. If you don't have everything you need or ask a silly question(when you are our age and look back at this $8 question you will see the sillyness) then you can expect an insult(proven), probably a slap on the back of yer head and if you are not carefull a wedgie is always in reach.

We really need A warning on the top of the site, might make that last paragraph my signature when BBY sends me legal paperwork.
