i Tried.
I got off the screws, the Side view mirror adjuster and i rolled down the window. you have to pop off the bit of trim round the lock post. thats as far as i got because i didnt want to break any clips so i just put it back together.
unless its necisary, dont do it.

not too hard... lethaldosage almost had it...

pop off the side mirror control panel and unhook it. then there are eight screws around the outside of the panel. take those out next.  then pry with your fingers the window control panel up and then slide the piece underneath it out towards you NOT UP. there is another screw there.  These are all 7mm sockets if i remember right.  then youll need a star bit screwdriver, youll see what i mean when you find the screws.  the first one is right behind the door pull its a  trapezodial shaped plastic cover piece that just pops off. the second is behind the door handle. this took me a while to get off b/c i didnt want to break it, but pull the handle our (like youre opening the door) then use a screwdriver or knife to pry that back panel off,  its just held in with tabs on the sides you wont break it if you go slow. take those two star bit screws out and then lift up on the whole panel.  DONE!

just reverse everything to put back on.

good luck ... pm me with any questions

also... you do not have to remove teh lock post trim. or the handle trim its all part of the panel, just the screw behind the handle and lift up and over the lock post

Damn..i almost had it lol. i was worried about breaking it and i thaught i would have to take off the trim by the door pull..i guess i didnt look hard enough. i cut up my fingers pretty bad pulling the pannell away from the door and i didnt want to use a screw driver or pry bar incase i cracked or scratched it..ill attempt it again this weekend..my handle is a bit loose.

since it is kind of on topic anybody know why that back panel of the door handle breaks/rattles constantly.  Dealer has fixed them a couple of times but don't seem to do anything

Are you talking about the little piece that's inside the door handle that hides the screw?  If so, I fixed my rattle by using some of the mole skin I had left over.  I put a strip of it on the back side of each and snapped them back in... rattle gone.

That sounds pretty smart might try it but can you just pop off that piece like previous people say without taking any other screws out?
