I think I saw a picture a month or two ago of a coupe with deck lid extensions, and it looked really nice. Perhaps that was standard trim on the California Special or something?
Either way, does anyone have pictures of deck lid extensions on a coupe? I'm curious about how it looks.
Thanks.

It was part of the GT/CS package, along with the Shelby-style tail panel. I've seen declid spoilers look really good, and I've seen them look really bad. It's all in how much time you spend fitting the fiberglass to the rest of the body. A couple of the guys here have coupes with decklid spoilers, so I'm sure they'll post some pics for you:)
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Heres a big list to look at http://www.californiaspecial.com/photogallery/ the coupe on convertible uses the same trunk. And yes with fiberglass you get what you pay for and always budget time and money to make a fiberglass part fit good. The best fiberglass Shelby parts i have found is http://www.cobranda.com/ hes not cheap but they fit great.
any one know where to find the lowest prices on the set?
im super intereseted in getting some for my car. not ready to buy them. but im starting to shop around.
if i can only buy them for 500 then so be it.
but if i can find them for less that would be...SUPER

Fiberglass is not something I'd price shop for. Like sheet metal, better products will cost more, but will fit much better. Still, expect to have to work even top notch fiberglass to get it to fit right.
im okay with working it. i work at a body shop during the days. im pretty good with fabrication involving body fillers and fiberglass/shaping.
but obviously i dont want to get a POS piece. and i didnt tihnk that there were lower quality pieces out there. thanks for the heads up.

Most people that buy the cheapest fiberglass tunk almost have to fully remake it to get it to fit right its cheaper to buy the more pricey one and have it fit.
+100 on http://www.cobranda.com/ I bought all our fiberglass from them which was pretty much the entire 68 setup (mucho $$s)! Why? Because I spent a lot of time reading up and hearing of the bad fit stories from other places. I remember reading 1 guy received a hood that was over an inch narrow.. on both sides! After a lot fo reading the only place I haven't heard any really bad stories about was Tony Branda.
Hot70Mach1.. yeah there are lower quality fiberglass parts out there so be aware of that.
As with all fiberglass, preparation is needed for proper fit & finish. Please TEST FIT before any preparation or painting!
