Does a 96 mustang gt need o2 wiring harness extensions when putting on a mac long tube header?

You can check where the o2 harness goes up to the connector. Not to sure about the '96 GT but '95 & lower you can pull the o2 wire connector out of where it's held to give extra length.

You can pop the hood & look for the connector that leads to the o2's. See if there's any room for it to be moved further.

I know that's not a solid answer, but since i don't have much experience with 96+ GT's, I hope that helps you out somewhat until some 96+ owners see this thread.
