are there vin stamps on the block or heads? or is this a date code motor?

2nd I know this one has been ran in the ground but:
The only thing done to the car is a cold air intake and I had the guy throw jba shorty headers on the car while the engine was getting swapped to the remand 100k/3 year warranty engine from what I am told 96-98 281 motors had bad problems with rod bearings

which maf, throttle body and size, mid pipe and under drive pulleis? what can I get hp wise out of the car? I would really like to c 300hp at the rear wheels will this do it?
I bought this car only as a driver so I dont need 500hp just a little more nut!

not smog legal in california jba is the only one I could find quickly in stock

my 03 has LT headers but I slipped the guy an extra bit $$ and he passed it

My idea is park this car covered in my drive way and put miles on it instead of the rest of my fleet. It is a really nice car rare blue color and with a ford service block now in her it should be a good car my main transpo has been a toyota truck and I am sick of driving a truck every day I will post pictures when I get her back to see what you guys think. Insurance on her was $135 a year on my collector policy got to love that!!!
