It all started out when i had a dodge ram 1500. I met a guy who has a 5.3L Chevy single cab. he raced me and of course beat me. So long story short I bought a 05 Mustang GT. Then he put a cam, stall, tune, rockers, headers, exhaust, y pipe, CAI, and a locker in his truck. He went to the track and ran a 13.74 @ 101. So he said if i go to the track and beat his time he would admit i beat him. SO I went to the track and ran a 13.6 @ 103 In a stock GT. I dont know if thats good. but i threw out the synchro becuz now at a high rpm rate shifting from 1st to 2nd either scratches in or hangs really bad. But its under warranty and they said they will replace it. Anywho he slapped some D/R's on his truck and yeah he did beat me becuz we never really made a good pass. It was est. he beat me only by 1/2 a truck or so. So what im planning to do is do something at least so I can for sure beat him. Ive asked everyone and this is my plan.
Full Corsa Exhaust
Cold Air Intake (JLT or C&L)
SCT Tune
265/50/ZR17's Fuzion Street Tires
That right there people said with a good driver may break 12.9's? Also i need advice on what i can do to stop throwing sychros out??? it was said to be from pulling the gear to far. If theres anything else i need to look in to please let me know. Thanks...

3.73 Gears would do you some good as well, especially with the new tires.

go for the gold.. 4.10s... and the exhaust wont help you.. (does corsa make a LT's?) anything besides long tube headers only changes sound... another option is an alluminium 1 piece driveshaft.. such as a spydershafter.. about $600-$700 and install can be done yourself... Lower Control Arms might help as well.. I've heard of someone getting a 12.9 with just the JLT2 + SCT (I believe a brenspeed tune)

A different shifter will help, especially if you're power shifting.

I wanna keep it street tires. oddly enough i hooked on the track with 235/55/r17 Pirelli Zero Nero's. I had no trouble getting off the line. So i figured a little more width would be it. Also I had another guy suggest these. Sorry if im asking too much but i am new to fords all around. Ive only worked on chev's and dodges so i really dont know how mustang respond to certain mods.
62mm Twin BBK TB
Longtube Headers
Steeda U.D Pullies
C&L CAI
SCT Flash Tuner
X-Pipe w/ exhaust
and how will it hold up with a 100 shot?
That should open it up a bit and be in the 12's? Let me know what u guys think...

I'd say you should be in the 12's with the 100shot. I would definately get a tune for the 100shot as well while your at it.
